Fan's Lego Terraria Build Tackles Bosses, Mining Escapades

Lego tributes are a popular way to show your appreciation for your favorite games. One gamer did exactly that with a Lego Terraria-inspired building that they've been building slowly. Reddit user aaadvancednerd started off with a small house concept based on the indie game and has gradually added more to their design in small chunks, building out a large scene over multiple installments.

The first build that aaadvancednerd uploaded to the RPG game's subreddit was a basic house with four walls, a couch, table, and crafting bench. It has the game's guide hidden inside, while another character is battling slime enemies on top of the structure's roof. The post was so popular that they decided to add a scene that features an armoured character fighting off numerous flying demon eyes and zombies.

Fans have suggested they would like to see the large Eye of Cthulhu boss reconstructed and aaadvancednerd reacted with a striking design of two characters facing the huge toothy monster. The attention to detail they pay is remarkable, closely replicating the most common build techniques and arena layouts used by players, and the builds make use of every manner of bricks and individual Lego studs to mimic the game's visuals.

Their latest update comes with two sets, including their first attempt at taking on underground modules, as well as a decked-out two-story home for the game's merchant. The underground setting features two intrepid explorers delving into a cave network that includes ore patches and the sporadic flooring torch and wall installation that you'd expect from a typical Terraria expedition. There's no telling how much the scope of this project will expand however we're hoping to be able to see them expand other regions of the map such as the crimson and jungle biomes.
